Gordon Merrick

Gordon has worked in the ambulatory care field since 1987. He has managed outpatient surgery centers, a busy private practice and a twelve physician surgical group. For the past 14 years, Gordon has specialized in the development, accreditation, certification, licensure and management of ambulatory care facilities, including outpatient surgery centers and birthing centers. His organization has successfully achieved certification or licensure in thirteen states for over 150 outpatient facilities.
Gordon has overseen marketing, strategic planning, human resource and day-to-day management. He has been active in quality improvement activities and implemented information systems for ambulatory care organizations across the country. Over the past decade, Gordon has worked as a consultant to several national surgical center corporations.
Gordon earned his undergraduate degree in Communications Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles and received his Masters in Business Administration in 1994.
